If you are not blogging for your business, you are missing out on a ton of stuff, if you are blogging are you blogging consistently?
If you are not blogging you are missing out from being found by your customers. Why? because Mr Google likes to see you update your content regularly and he will send his robots and spiders out to collect information about your site to get it indexed in the search rankings. By blogging often, you have more chances of getting found by your customers.
By blogging you will make a connect with your customers – we all know that people buy from people they know, like and trust right?
By blogging you will be able to engage with your customers and show off your expertise in your chosen field.
These are just three reasons to blog, there are many, many more out there, but I just wanted to get my point over for getting started with blogging.
WordPress is the chosen platform
WordPress is the chosen platform for blogging, why? Mr Google loves it as it’s responsive and he will penalise you if you do not have a responsive website.
People love it as its FREE and supported by millions of plugins, some are free and some are paid for! Because it’s open source, there are thousands of developers out there constantly working on it.
WordPress is really simple to use, no coding just a very intuitive dashboard that looks very similar to a word processing software.
WordPress is simple to install, Bluehost, my chosen hosting provider, has a one-click install button. One click and it’s installed on your domain ready to use. Simples….
I will create a one-click video in a later post to show you just how easy it is to install.
High five and a pat on the back to you!
But are you blogging on a regular cycle? If you are not blogging at least once a week, then you might as well not have a blog at all. Customer will soon lose interest and go elsewhere, all that effort to get them to your site, then off they go…
I know it’s hard to get creative, get motivate to write something new each week and the further you get behind with your schedule, the harder it is to get back on track again.
If you want to get blogging on a constant basis, get motivated to get going again, I will help you – join the 30-day blog challenge and get motivate, build your community and raise your profile and watch those sales start rolling in again.
